Georgia head football coach Mark Richt and his son David were on Atlanta Christian music station 104.7 The Fish's Kevin & Taylor show on Friday morning. Among the highlights included David explaining the reaction from his dorm mates to his watching the Georgia win over South Carolina on the television, and Richt explaining the playground swing set incident twenty-five years ago that led to him needing hip replacement surgery earlier this year.

Richt has long been supportive of his son's music career. When asked by an ESPN survey once what his favorite song was, he replied that is was one David has written. The elder Richt also appeared in Daivd's now-infamous "Dawg Bite"video, doing a father-son dance move routine that continues to give Georgia fans even more nightmares than the 2012 SEC Championship Game loss to Alabama has.

Here's what the interview sounded like.

The station also played the younger Richt's new song, "Heaven." It's not included in the sound clip, but here's a video performing it this past July in Athens.

David Richt is performing at the Barberitos location in Sandy Springs on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 5:00-7:00 PM.
