Zach Mettenberger is taking a Johnny Manziel-esque online course fall semester.

Remember the mess Texas A&M starting quarterback stirred when it was discovered he was taking online classes earlier this year? LSU starting quarterback Zach Mettenberger going that same route this semester while he plays his senior football season. Only its a single online English course.

It means Mettenberger has a lot of free time on his hands when he's not online or practicing. He gave an example of what he does with his day to USA Today.

"I woke up about eight, ran some errands, went to Dunkin' Donuts, came over here (to the football facility), watched some film with my coffee," Mettenberger said of his day. "About 11, I went to lunch, came back and watched film until practice. It's just like if I was a coach or in the league (the NFL). I'm up here doing my homework, which is football pretty much."

Mettenberger is a fifth-year senior majoring in general studies taking one online course as his . This still doesn't make this sound any better.
