Tennessee looking to steal Mike Gundy from Oklahoma State?

The latest on the post-Gruden quest for a new Tennessee head football coach is reportedly aimed at Oklahoma State HC Mike Gundy. Yeah, that seems a little more feasible, doesn't it? It looks even more illogical when Gundy signed a new $3.75 per year deal with Oklahoma St. in January, which runs through 2019.

What would make Gundy bolt in light of his new deal? Trouble in paradise, obviously. Gundy and Oklahoma St. athletic director aren't quite chummy as they were before.

"Some have speculated that he has a contentious relationship with OSU athletic director Mike Holder that manifested in last year's contract showdown.

Leaks from Gundy's camp suggested OSU wasn't being loyal to him because it had given a 10-year contract to men's basketball coach Travis Ford, according to a report last year in The Oklahoman. Throw Gundy's Memphis-based mega-agent Jimmy Sexton into the mix, and there may be hurt feelings that weren't soothed even after Gundy agreed to the new contract in January."

You can give a story like this a "there's a possibility, but no chance" rating.
