Chris Petersen to Arkansas?

It's "the voices in your head don't count as reliable sources" time again. Hog Country, and Arkansas blog, is claiming that Arkansas has lured Boise State head football coach Chris Petersen out of Smurf-turf land to be the Razorbacks' new HC.

"As of Saturday evening, multiple sources have said that Boise State coach Chris Petersen is expected to be named the new Razorbacks coach Tuesday. Considering the Hogs will play Oklahoma in basketball that evening at Bud Walton Arena, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that he could be formally introduced to the fans then."
Maybe under normal circumstances I would totally throw water on this kind of rumor. The only reason to give this one any credence is that with all the realignment chaos of the past week, Boise State's place in the college football world is on shaky ground. Petersen might be finally ready to put his personal goals to win a title over winning one with Boise St. Stay tuned.
