Charlie Strong may just not be that into Tennessee, could stay at Louisville.

Tennessee's search for a new head football coach is slowly beginning to take a steep nosedive. The school's dalliance with Jon Gruden totally blew up in its face, and rumors of luring Mike Gundy from Oklahoma State have been just rumors. Now the latest public candidate for the job, Louisville HC Charlie Strong, might not come to Knoxville, either.

"Multiple sources who spoke with Strong on campus Tuesday said he seemed committed to staying with the Cardinals – through the Sugar Bowl and beyond. They expect him to coach Louisville in 2013. 

"Unless he's the greatest poker player of all time, I don't think he’s going anywhere," one Louisville source told Yahoo! Sports."

If Strong falls through, North Carolina HC Larry Fedora is most likely next on the list.With Arkansas straight-from-nowhere hire of Bret Bielema to replace John L. Smith , and Auburn luring Gus Malzahn back to be the Tigers' new HC, the pressure is on Tennessee athletic director Dave Hart is going to need a pretty big rabbit to match the probably inflated expectations of the Vols Nation. Either that, or Vols fans will have to learn to settle for a middle-to-low level grade replacement for Derek Dooley.
