A.J. McCarron is coming back to Alabama in 2013.

McCarron will be pimping more bow ties in Tuscaloosa in 2013.

Crimson Tide fans can quit wondering about Alabama starting quarterback A.J. McCarron's post-2013 BCS title game future. The bow tie-obsessed QB will be returning to Tuscaloosa next season for his senior year.

"I had many goals for myself when I came to the University of Alabama," McCarron said in a university statement. "I have been lucky enough to achieve some of those goals, but some are still ahead of me. There were many factors in my decision to return to Alabama for my senior year but, after talking with my family and coaches, I knew it was the right choice for me.

"I love the University of Alabama, my coaches, my teammates and our fans. I am excited to have the opportunity to play with my brother (sophomore tight end Corey McCarron), continue to grow as a leader, continue to help our team win football games and develop even further as a quarterback. The NFL has long been a dream, but I think another year at Alabama can only help my chances of being successful at the next level."

McCarron will be leading Alabama against Notre Dame in the BCS title game on Jan. 7, 2013. If the Tide win that game, McCaron could be looking to the trifecta next season. Plus, he'll get a shot of revenge against a certain pesky Scooby-Doo loving QB that put the kibosh on the Tide's chances of going unbeaten this season, Johnny Manziel. Get ready for Johnny Football vs. A.J. Bowtie, Round II, when Alabama faces Texas A&M on Sept. 13, 2013.
