Big Ten expansion silliness: Georgia Tech enters the fray?

With news about the possible defections of Maryland and Rutgers to the Big Ten rocking the college football universe, Jeff Ermann of InsideMDSports reports that the Scarlet Knights might have some competition in accompanying the Terrapins to the B1G. That would be Georgia Tech, of all teams.

Georgia Tech give the Big Ten a footprint smack dab in SEC territory, and would be a plus in recruiting for all schools making the trip to Atlanta. On the other hand, Yellow Jacket football has been on a downward trend the past couple of seasons.
