Get ready to add something to your Christmas lists, Alabama fans. That would be this big red toboggan hat Crimson Tide starting quarterback A.J. McCarron wore while being interviewed after practice on Tuesday. It certainty made him feel happier after seeing the Tide's hopes and dreams for a second consecutive BCS title all but shatter in Saturday's shock-the-world loss to Texas A&M.
McCarron's reason for wearing the hat? He said he had a "bad hair day," which is certainly one way to describe seeing his chances for winning the Heisman Trophy potentially stolen by that Johnny Manziel guy. Still McCarron did seem to be keeping things in perspective.
“You can’t worry about things that happened in the past,” he said. “You can’t control that. Got to move on. We got to win out, take care of business and just control what we can control.”
A nice philosophy to have. Especially when there is still the potential for 'Bama to still find it's way to Miami for the BCS title game even with a loss.
