Hershel Walker praises Georgia's Todd Gurley.

It's standard operating procedure for any Georgia player who can rush for at least twenty feet and get a touchdown  to get compared to Hershel Walker. So it is with this year and the latest Bulldog  to be compared to the Heisman Trophy winner, tailback Todd Gurley.

So what does Walker think about Gurley? He thinks quite highly of Gurley, as it turns out.

“He’s an incredible back,” said Walker, the 1982 Heisman Trophy winner. “He has size and vision. The Georgia fans have something to look forward to with him running the ball like that. There’s a couple of them. That’s what you need to build your program back up.”

With praise like that it's bound to rev up the hype machine in Athens. Gurley does seem to have a bright future ahead, if he can keep focused on the game, and stay out of trouble.
