Nick Saban's Nick's Kids charity gave Habitat for Humanity a $75,000 at a kid's gold event put on by the charity in Vestavia Hills, Al. (al.com)

Georgia finally gets around to getting Bulldog HC Mark Richt's contract approved. The contract is notable for the lack of a buyout clause on the part of Richt, which allows him the leave the school without penalty. (The Athens Banner-Herald)
