Norte Dame quarterback fought the law, and the law won.

Notre Dame quarterback Tommy Rees paid a visit to Mister Po-Po's house, but not before Rees was pepper-sprayed after attacking a police officer.  Rees was arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement, felony battery to law enforcement, minor consumption and public intoxication." Rees allegedly kicked a police officer in the stomach

"As officers approached, five or six people hopped a fence and led police on a chase, Trent said. The officers caught up with the group and used their hands to corral them, but Rees "actively resisted," Trent said.

"It wasn't terribly violent, but it was enough to be considered resisting," he said.

One officer suffered a minor scrape and "had the wind knocked out of him" while trying to stop the group, Trent said. Rees lifted a knee into that officer, Trent said. Rees also was pepper-sprayed while on the ground, police said."

Notre Dame linebacker  Carlo Calabrese was also arrested for disorderly conduct. Rees is being held without bond. Fighting Irish head coach Brian Kelly isn't too happy right now.

How do you like your pick for QB now Kelly? You should've stuck Christ. He is better than Rees on and off the field.

I would hate to lose him but a felony is a felony and ND holds itself to higher standards.

This was planned. Now a younger quarterback can take over without Kelly having to make a tough decision to sit rees.
