New Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer is leading a poll by ESPN's Brian Bennett on the "most disliked coach" in the Big Ten Conference. (ESPN)

 Northwestern director of football operations Cody Cejda is talking the blame for a comment posted on Wildcat head football coach Pat Fitzgerald's Twitter account about New York Knicks' phenom Jeremy Lin, which NBA fans thought was degrading to other NBA players. (Dr. Saturday)

Michigan will begin spring football practice on St. Patricks' Day (Mar. 17), which seems a date more appropriate for either Notre Dame or the Wolverines' green-clad in-state rival, Michigan St. (The Detroit Free Press)
