Big Tentacles: Penn St. vs. Alabama, Ohio State,

(Big Tentacles is the SWRT look at the Big Ten and the teams it not-so-secretly covets.)
Penn State's game against Alabama compared to climbing Mt. Everest. Luckily for Penn St., it won't have to worry about the intimidating summit of Terrence "Mount" Cody, now with the Baltimore Ravens. (Off Tackle Empire)

Iowa St. at Iowa. This will probably be more like Mt. Everest climbing over the Cyclones. Or maybe Mt. Rushmore, since we're talking Ricky Stanzi and the Hawkeyes here. Anyhow, Black Heart Gold Pants has a retrospective of their mocking of Iowa's "Little Brother." (Black Heart Gold Pants)

Flying into the eye of the Hurricane. How Ohio State's offense plans to storm Miami's defense in their Sept. 11 confrontation. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)

Former Wisconsin walk-on gets scholarship. Right Tackle Ricky Wagner walked on to the Wisconsin Badgers in 2008. Two years later, the team has given him a scholarship, and possibly a chance of starting this Saturday against San Jose State. (The Baltimore Sun)

An experience like no other. A first-hand account of the game experience at the newly renovated "Big House." (M Victors)
